Welcome Letter

(This Welcome Letter will continue to be updated as more info is obtained)

Welcome to Turn N' Spit's 3rd flyball tournament.  Please take the time to read some of the important information in the Welcome Letter. We appreciate your entry in our tournament and hope you have a fun and relaxing time. This tournament is a unlimited entry tournament.   We will be running on mats over lineolum in a building equipped with AC/Heating, lots of restrooms and a full kitchen. Crating however will be outdoors, but we will have a speaker system and electronic light system announcing up to date racing to keep everyone informed. This tournament is in conjunction with the Kern County Kennel Club's All Breed Dog show.

Friday March 28, 2008:
You may setup canopies from 1:00-8:00pm. Please look for your designated areas for setup. We will be setting up the lanes and mats on Friday afternoon and if you feel so gracious, please join in the fun! Early Bird Check-in will be available on arrival. Please come see us for your packet!

Unloading!
You may unload by coming through Gate 40 . This year we have our own gate and own parking area, so we will not have to deal with as much chaos. We will still be starting racing at 7:00am to make sure we have no vehicles moving at 8am which is a AKC rule.

Parking:
All parking is in through Gate 40 off of Ming Ave.

Entrance to the Event:
If coming through South "P" Street" Main Gate" , Gate 40 "Flyball Entrance" or Gate 26 " RV entrance", you will need  an Entrance pass. . Please print out as many as you would like as all flyball participants are waived from entrance fees. Please make sure you have this pass when coming in or out at all times. I have attached in an email to all the captains Entrance Passes to print out and distribute. Please make sure EVERYONE gets one. You will need it all weekend. If you did not get one, or forget yours you can call Stacie or Candis at the numbers below.

Food:
There will be several food vendors on site and you may bring your own as well. We will be holding a BBQ to feed all our volunteers and judges throughout the day and will have some items available for purchase in case you do not want to leave the flyball area. Our Famous Pancake Breakfast is back to warm your tummy's and get everyone started in the morning.
V
endors:
If you like dog items, what better place to shop then at a dog show. Too many vendors to list. Bring your pocket book as you will need it. We will have a Expresso/Smoothie vendor in our flyball area only! He will have lots of drinks throughout the day.

Raffle:
Our raffle looks to be a promising one. With several very cool items, several people will go home very lucky.
Special Notes:
Please make sure all dogs nails are trimmed and you bring extra towels to dry the pups feet off before entering the mats from the pools.

Volunteers:
Although we should have most seats filled, I am sure a seat would gladly be given up for someone interested in helping out.
