Octane Breed: Jack Russell Terrier Age: 6 mos Owned and Adored by: Stacie Giambastiani Meet Octane..... looks like an adorable Jack Russell Terrier to you? Well, that's about the only thing right about the dog. Poor Octane lived with a demon that eventually resulted in his death at much too young of age. Octane was obtained from Reno, NV as a JRT that needed a new home. He landed in a superior performance home, ready to do everything with this sweet guy. Octane was set to be the next new height dog for Turn N' Spit as well as the ultimate performance dog for his owner. Sadly, Octane lived with a demon called Luxated Patellas which did not surface fully til he turned 5 months. Unfortunatly, Octane's Luxated Patella's resulted in a ruptured ACL in one knee and the second knee set to go any day.  His owner unfortunatly had to make the decision to end his life at a very early age, as surgery was not an option. This was the best decision to honor his quality of life! Please do your research before ever breeding any dog!! Octane was unfortunatly a result of a Backyard Breeding that did not test for what is so prevalent in the lines of Jack Russell Terriers. Dogs do not deserve to go through this!
