| Berlin's 3rd Times a Charm Breed: German Shorthaired Pointer Age: 2 Owned & Adored by: Candis Amasalian Titles: FD, FDX, FDCH, FDCH-S, FDCH-G, TF, TF-I Best Time: 4.3 Best Splash Dogs Jump: 14.09 Meet Berlin.... this absolutely adorable pointer stole my heart when she arrived at my home. Full of more energy then all my pointers combined, this girl was exactly what I was looking for. Berlin was rescued from Tulare Animal Control by a loving family in Visalia. With slightly more energy then I think anyone would have been prepared for, they sought out to find a loving family that could keep up with her. I was so honored to be her final home. Berlin has quite the future ahead of her. Dock Jumping like a pro the second time I took her out, learning a swimmers turn in flyball in a matter of an hour, pointing out birds in the field yards away and teaching me that even if you run this girl 2 miles, play fetch with her for 1hr and take her swimming all in one day, she still is bouncing off the walls ready for her next adventure. I love it! Stay Tuned... this one is going to take me for one wild ride! News: With an awesome opportunity to add Berlin to a race on RF Revolution's FEO Team in Hayward, Ca this weekend, I was able to race Berlin in a race that I was certain would be entertaining. I had no idea just what this firecracker had in store. Berlin wide- passed into a dog, had a beautiful 4-footed swimmers turn on a box she has never used, came back over the jumps and was passed by a dog. She ran perfectly for four heats. I have not been this happy to run a green dog since I started with Italy! I have high hopes for this one.... and can't wait til she gets settled. Berlin also will be competing in Splash Dogs for the first time in September. She has practiced her skills on our dock but let's cross our fingers she shows off just as good in a competition. I am SOOO proud of my little wild girl. She ran in Reno flawlessly earning her FD, FDX titles, passing in both directions and earning a nice first time of 4.7. She came back out a week later in Santa Barbara after spending an entire day at the ocean earned another 100 points and a new best time of 4.6. I cannot wait... she is just getting started! |
