Sadly 1100 points from her ONYX title I have chose to retire Italy from flyball due to an ACL injury she obtained from just being a silly ball crazy dog at home.. She is and always will be my heart and soul to this sport and each and every sport she competed in. I had hoped I would someday reach #1 GSP but I know that she will always be my #1 GSP and that is good enough!
Spit is off to retirement!

Once in a lifetime something comes and touches your life leaving a lasting effect forever. Italy is truly a remarkable dog. In the 5 years I have had her, we have been through several struggles together. She has taught me about patience and forgiveness. She has excelled in Dock Dogs, never seeming to amaze me by improving, as well as becoming a reliable flyball dog.

Italy's focus has always been toward tennis balls. From the time she was a tiny puppy I remember her carrying  tennis balls around everywhere. It took a lot of practice to get her to retrieve random tennis balls. Even to this day she still has a hard time, as she always likes the first tennis ball she plays with for the day. However, she has proved that whatever mom asks, she will do. After all, she is the "Perfect Princess."
